Kitchen & Bathroom Design
There are so many things to consider when remodeling or updating your kitchen or bathroom, including space planning, selecting materials, and choosing the right appliances that fit both your style and needs. Hiring a designer from the start will alleviate unnecessary stress, as they can offer valuable insights on the latest trends and help you avoid costly mistakes. A designer can also assist with managing the project timeline and coordinating with contractors, ensuring that your vision comes to life seamlessly while you focus on the excitement of creating your dream space.
Step by step details:
- The process starts with a free consultation in your home, where we assess your needs and preferences in detail, followed by a quote issued within a couple of days to ensure transparency and clarity.
- Once the contract is signed, design starts in full swing! At this stage, two very different conceptual designs and floor plans are presented, along with samples of materials purposed to be used, showcasing a range of styles, textures, and colors. This A and B design serves as the jumping off point to realize what can truly be achieved with this project.
- Design C, the final design, is now created and all details are narrowed down after careful consideration and collaboration. Shopping for the hard materials along with the designer is an outing to see the samples in store, allowing for a tactile experience that enhances the decision-making process.
- 2-3 contractors are brought into quote based off Design C. These can be referrals from the designer, such as those who have worked on similar projects successfully, or they can be brought in from the homeowners, who may have previous experience or recommendations for reliable contractors they trust.
- Items can start being purchased off the shared shopping list that all parties of this project have access to, including contractors, designers, and any other key stakeholders involved. This is another way the project runs smoothly once construction begins and ensures that everyone involved is on the same page regarding the needs and requirements of the project.
- Once construction is underway, weekly visits from the designer can be expected to monitor the progress closely. Constant communication ensuring the project is staying on track based off the design is always the goal, as it allows for adjustments to be made in a timely manner and ensures that any emerging challenges are addressed promptly, maintaining the overall vision and quality of the project.
